Joseph M. Farr, his wife Mary Behn Farr and their four children were a white, slave and land owning family in Beaufort County. Two of their slaves were Elizabeth and Robert [Bob] Farr. The Wendell M. Levi Real Estate Records contains documents produced over the course of Levi’s legal career. The bulk of the collection dates to the first half of the 20th century.
